Creo que esa es la clave del mail... Hype por las nubes al leer el subject del correo pero gran decepción cuando lees esa linea. ¿Tienes BETA? Parece que si. ¿Puedes jugarla ahora? Pues va a ser que no... Lo dice bien claro: "Los detalles adicionales para este el test que va a venir, serán comunicados proximamente."

He leido ésto por ahi del PVP en Ilum el planeta Full PVP para lvl 50:

[spoiler]Ilum is a level 50 end-game zone

About half of the planet’s size is used for the world PvP objective, and it’s a large planet

There are 5 control points in the zone: a Republic and Empire base at the north and south, as well as 3 central resources

All 5 points must be under control simultaneously for victory

Certain control points engage/deploy walkers that can and need to be
take down by special shoulder-mounted rocket launchers, and perhaps
other means. It takes a good 10 seconds to fire one of these rockets

Victory conditions award a buff that can stack, which awards extra
Valor points (earned during other forms of PvP such as Warzones)

This buff is faction-wide

The status is persistent, no timers for the game to artificially start or “reset” – it’s always on

There are rare crafting resources available throughout the zone

Zone can hold hundreds of players

Design accounts for population differences

Operation (raid) group size is 24 players. (Note: PvE Operation instanced content is designed for 8 or 16, but the group itself can have 24 people in it.)[/spoiler]

Hello testers! We are preparing to deploy a new build of the game!

This Thursday, 11/17, at 7:00AM CST (13:00 London, 14:00 Paris/Berlin), we will bring the servers down for maintenance. Then, at 10:00AM CST (16:00 London, 17:00 Paris/Berlin), the servers will become available again with a 20GB patch, which will contain the new build.

You do not need to uninstall your previous game installation, but we do recommend uninstalling in order to save space on your hard drive and to assist with any necessary troubleshooting.

Good news: characters from the last phase of testing will not be wiped and will carry over to the new build!

Thank you all for your participation in the test!

#348 Igual lo he entendido mal, pero me parece que quiere decir que el peso entero de la nueva buid es de 20 Gb, no que sean 20 Gb mas(que ojalá xD).

#354 El tema es que si es nueva build, y tocan cualquier archivo, se baja el archivo entero, aunque hayan tocado solo una linea de codigo en un archivo de 3 millones, aunque no lleve "nada" nuevo, con lo que esos 20GB no tienen por que ser contenido propiamente dicho.

Ademas, que por lógica, no van a meter un parche que DOBLE el contenido que había a un mes de release, sin testear ni nada, como que no es fumable, a no ser que sean todo texturas y sonidos.

No es por nada, pero yo al menos ahí entiendo que es un parche de 20gb.

Además de que dijeron que el juego ocuparía unos 40gb, asi que tiene sentido.

You do not need to uninstall your previous game installation, but we do recommend uninstalling in order to save space on your hard drive and to assist with any necessary troubleshooting.

Vamos que es una nueva build que el cliente entero ocupa 20gb, que puedes quedarte con tu cliente antiguo si quieres, pero te recomiendan borrarlo para librerar espacio. En resumen 20gb de cliente (no de parche).

#357 Ahi no especifica que sean 20gb en total. Pero seguramente tengáis razón y esten hablando de una nueva build de 20gb... tendría bastante más sentido que un patch de 20gb de no se que XD.
