Cuando decis que GFWL se va para siempre? o cuando es q Dirt 3 cambiara a steamwokrs? lo acabo de instalar y menudo sabor a mierda con el GFWL. nothing to do here

Right... here's the thing and I'll lay it all out for you as best as I can. Last year when I posted that original post I'd been pushing for months to get us to move DiRT3 over to Steam. It was all scheduled up, cost was associated to it everybody was ready to start the work in Feb.
Then something happened (and I won't discuss what) but the project was delayed, I can assure you this annoyed me way more than it annoyed you. I kept the pressure up on the right people and I have been ever since.
We've been exploring other options trying to find a solution but we kept getting so far down the path before hitting a road block and having to start again.
Now we currently have one in place, but... I'm not going to be sharing the details of that with you. Is this because of the almost daily abuse I get from a lot of you other this? No. I've got a thicker skin than that.
Its because I don't want to let you down again.
As it stands DiRT 3 will work for anybody who has purchased it via Steam or has a Steam key for it (from a Humble Bundle etc) and has a machine that meets the minimum spec. We get that you guys don't like GFWL believe me but the game does work.
If you find it won't load then follow the steps in the first post and your problems should all be solved. If they aren't however the guys in customer service will help get you up and running (custserv@codemasters.com)
Believe me when I say I am on your side with this, sadly I’m not a programmer, not a UI artist, I’m not anything other than the guy that represents you. If I could do that other stuff I’d have done it myself in my own time but I’m not.
I’ll keep at it on your behalf but I won’t be giving any of you anymore info than that until the day its released. If you think thats unreasonable then I aplogise but this is how its going to be.
To the few of you that are understanding and even defend us on occasion thank you, it doens't go un-noticed.
If anybody has any questions regarding that fire away, if you have a specific problem getting the game to work then post that and I'll do my best to try help you out.

#2842 No no, lo que yo leí era que Microsoft no chapaba GFWL, de ningun juego, que ellos nunca habían dicho eso.
Una pregunta a ver si alguno sabe orientarme un poco.
Dentro de unos dias me voy de viaje, y como no llevo mi sobremesa, solo el portatil, no podre disfrutar del 90% del catalogo de steam. Entonces he pensado poner el modo familia para mi primo y algun amigo, para que puedan jugar ellos de los titulos que tengo.
El caso es, con el modo familia puedo "compartir" esos juegos con alguien de Sevilla y de Cadiz aunque decidan jugar al mismo tiempo? Si yo estoy en el extranjero y decido jugar a alguno, afecto esto de alguna manera a ellos aqui?

#2846 Hombre ya me imagino, pero es cuando más se nota. Deberían poner un captcha o algo para ver los perfiles de la gente que tradea.
#2847 Si autorizas sus equipos para usar tu biblioteca, podrán jugar siempre que no esté usada por el otro. Además, si están usandola alguno de los dos, y tu decides entrar en Steam a jugar, a ellos les aparecerá una advertencia de cierre, ya que tú tienes preferencia por ser tu cuenta.
Para aclarar, da igual al juego que estén jugando, es la biblioteca entera lo que compartes.
Luego, el riesgo está en que si das tu login y password para que se añadan al modo familiar, al autorizar la maquina por steamguard, esos amigos/familiares podrían entrar con tu login/password en lugar de entrar con el suyo y usar el modo familiar. Ese es el único peligro de tu cuenta. Por otro lado es fácil de solucionar. Haz tu el login en sus máquinas, o si compartes el password, despues de autorizar las máquinas cámbialo y ya está.
