Humble regala Hacknet para Steam
Este juego me vino en el Humble Down Under Bundle de octubre del año pasado y, cómo no, no lo he probado aún, como ninguno de los de ese bundle. Satellite Reign, también regalado hace poco, perteneció al tier 1 de dicho bundle.
#5 Tengo 3 cupones de esos (con este ya sería el 4º) en las cuentas de Humble que aún no he pagado el Monthly. De los que tengo, el de una cuenta me valdría para usar en este Monthly, y en otra cuenta usaría otro que es vigente para el siguiente Monthly.
The game simulates hacking without it becoming too text cumbersome. In addition to the point and click interface, you can just use the tab key to finish typing the rest of the commands for you and the up/down arrows cycle through recently used commands. Objectives usually focus on hacking a computer to obtain information in order to complete missions. This typically requires the following: connecting to the target’s machine, breaking through the firewall, using programs to open various ports, and using Porthack to get in once the required ports are open. The information needed isn’t always right in the open, however, and players will start to learn where to look (might want to download anything relevant just in case). One of the biggest limiting factors for hacking is your RAM. You can only run so many programs at once, so you might be able to run 2 exploits at once, but some, like Tracekill, will take up most of your RAM, so you’ll have to be careful about when to use them.
While the game is limited in its representation of hacking (you can’t write you own scripts for repetitive tasks, for example), it does realistically do a good job to simulate hacking in a game to the point where it is enjoyable and not too repetitive. It also manages to fit in some humor for good measure.
