Quieren que se diferencie lo que puede ser un troll y una persona que va a intentar ganar con un pick o estilo fuera del meta, ya que en el caso de los primeros van a seguir siendo castigados por ser tóxicos para el juego.

"As long as a player is working towards their team’s chances of winning, we won’t punish them for non-standard play styles. That said, there are clear differences between meta breaking and straight up trolling. We stand firm that people who intentionally troll and disrupt games in League will end up banned."
Take the Draw was originally banned on Feb. 22 after he was reported several times for various offenses, with a player support representative telling him that the "community deemed this behavior unacceptable." Take the Draw had picked support Nunu, abandoning his ADC to counter-jungle. The ban was subsequently rescinded several days after it was originally handed out.
WookieeCookie stressed in the announcement that there were relatively few players banned for taking off-meta picks. Going forward, players who are reported because of an off-meta pick will not be banned, but will instead be locked out of their account. Players will subsequently have to contact Player Support to unlock their account.
