Tournament organizer ESL has announced the schedule and locations for the upcoming Regional Major Ranking events set to take place ahead of the IEM Rio Major 2022. The European RMR will be played in Malta while the tournaments for the Americas and Asia will be held in Sweden and Australia respectively.
Unlike the previous RMRs held in April for the PGL Major in Antwerp, where the competitions for each region ran sequentially, this set of events will all run simultaneously between October 4-9. The new schedule will shorten the RMR phase by eight days compared to the previous Major cycle.
