a ver si alguien me puede explicar q siginifica el erro 77 a la ahora de hacer un

No tienes instalado el compilador, por eso no puede generar los ejecutables. En consola:

$ sudo aptitude install build-essential

O busca ese paquete en synaptic e instálalo.

Te faltan las gtk de desarrollo, supongo que con
apt-get install libgtk1.2-dev libglib1.2-dev
te servirá.

O si no cambia el 1.2 por 2.0.

se me instaló perfectamente el
"atp get---"

pero al compilar....:

Sabes ingles??? Siempre te dice el error claramente,

"Could not find Xv lib"

Con eso deberias saber lo que te falta.

Si no sabes que paquete instalar cuando te falta una libreria, puedes hacer uso del buscador de Synaptic o bien buscarlo mediante apt.

Eso iba a decir, está bien pedir ayuda, pero hombre... hay que ser un mínimo autosuficiente o al menos intentarlo o mal camino has tomado.

Con buscar en google el error que te arroja, en este caso "Could not find Xv Lib" tienes la respuesta del paquete que te falta. El último si no me equivoco es el libxv-dev.

busqué la librería

y cuando supe cual era lo instalé con

$ apt-get install

Ten en cuenta que es muy probable que el programa que estuvieras compilando, esté también en el apt-get para instalar.

Usuarios habituales
