Balance Changes

* TERRAN

o Engineering Bay

            + Infantry Armor: The time required for each upgrade has been reduced by 30 seconds, decreasing each upgrade time from 190/220/250 seconds to 160/190/220 seconds.
            + Infantry Weapons: The time required for each upgrade has been reduced by 30 seconds, decreasing each upgrade time from 190/220/250 seconds to 160/190/220 seconds.

o Armory

            + Vehicle Plating: The time required for each upgrade has been reduced by 30 seconds, decreasing each upgrade time from 190/220/250 seconds to 160/190/220 seconds.
            + Vehicle Weapons: The time required for each upgrade has been reduced by 30 seconds, decreasing each upgrade time from 190/220/250 seconds to 160/190/220 seconds.
            + Ship Plating: The time required for each upgrade has been reduced by 30 seconds, decreasing each upgrade time from 190/220/250 seconds to 160/190/220 seconds.

            + The maximum shield capacity of this unit has been decreased from 60 to 50.

Bug Fixes

* Fixed a bug where the Infestor's Neural Parasite ability could cause Reapers to lose the ability to move.
* Fixed an issue that could use an incorrect HDR format on some ATI cards.
* Fixed a crash that could happen on some ATI cards.

Dustin Browder: We're seeing all kinds of feedback. Some of the feedback we're taking very seriously; quite a lot of it, of course, we're not. Players are still learning the game and they're going through a lot of the stages we went through in development, when we learned the game. What we're definitely seeing right now is a general weakness in Terrans versus Protoss and Zerg, and this is from stats we have internally. The most interesting thing to us at this stage of the beta is less of what people think is wrong than what we can actually prove is wrong.

Our internal stats show us that Terrans are down in 1v1 versus Protoss and Zerg, and our internal stats also show us that Terran-Terran teams are also taking a hit in almost every match-up. This we believe to be largely because of map design. The Terrans lack some of the mobility to come rescue their allies in the early game, and we do have fortress maps in the beta, but we have several maps that aren't fortress-style maps. This means the two players aren't that close to one another, so a Terran-Terran match-up could get a little difficult if you can't move quickly to support your allies.

We're going to change the maps a little bit and see if we get different results, but the Terrans being down is something we've started to address and we're going to continue to address in the coming weeks.

+ Warp Gate research time increased from 60 seconds to 140 seconds.

* ZERG
o Hatchery/Lair/Hive
+ Burrow research time increased from 50 seconds to 100 seconds.
+ Burrow research cost increased from 50 Minerals and 50 Vespene Gas to 100 Minerals and
100 Vespene Gas. (Note: despite saying Hatchery/Lair/Hive, Burrow still requires Lair. but can be researched by a different Hatchery after having Lair/Hive)
o Nydus Network
+ Nydus Worm build time increased from 10 seconds to 20 seconds.
o Hydralisk
+ The delay between attacks has been increased from 0.75 seconds to 0.83 seconds.
o Infestor
+ Neural Parasite has been redesigned:

The limited duration of 10 seconds has been removed.

Can no longer target air units.

Cast range decreased from 9 to 7.

+ Burrowed Infestor move speed decreased from 1.5 to 1.
+ Infestor life decreased from 120 to 90.
+ Infestors that are burrowed now have the same threat level as above-ground units for the purposes of automatically acquiring targets.

Bug Fixes

   * Fixed an issue with High graphics settings that could cause particles not to render.

a mi por el momento la mejor solucion antiaéreo son los marines, madre mia como arrasan en grupo.

Deberian meter algo estilo goliat, el thor está bien pero no mete mucho, ademas los destruyen enseguida, no duran nada

Buen nerfeo a los infestors, pero tampoco nada del otro mundo (aunque en la beta no he llegado a ver infestors xd. No duran tanto mis partidas 1on1 o 2on2). Que suban a los Terran ya.

P.D: Los mass-marines bien llevados son una opción rentable si no te cuelan Colossus bien respaldados o cosas así. Porque vamos, Thor nada, Crucero nada, tanke aún. Pero ya está. Como mucho el avión ese que sólo ataca aire. Pero necesitas demasiados de ellos y no son un buen soporte tampoco :S.

#42 +1, los thor deberian petar mas que cuesta hacerlos un cojon, son buenos para mi pero vaya, que no puedes hacer a mansalva. Los battlecrusiers para mi son bastante utiles si estan respaldados, arrasan una barbaridad.

Pues no sé qué son peores, los battles o los Thor. Almenos a distancia petas búnkers con la habilidad esa de quitar 600 como nada. Para petar turrets con el Yamato te tienes que acercar y ya te quitan bastante vida (por lo lentos que son). Ahora, a un crucero no le rodearán 6 zerlings y se lo bajarán xd.

A alguien os han hecho el rush marines+scv? Ayer viendo a un pro jugar se lo hicieron y no vesas como se puso k eso es imparable k aun no esta nerfeao, k valla manera mas lammer de subir puestos...

No se si cuela solo contra protoss, pero vamos ayer jugue 5 partida, las 5 contra terran y me hicieron eso 4 veces.

#49 Espero que nunca pongan una unidad así en SC. No se la veo muy forzada y perdería muchisimo el juego. No quiero que se convierta en algo tipo supream commander.

Y como es que peta tanto eso? por ser un rush, no? y no sería lo mismo que ir con zeas y sondas o zerlings y zanganos?

O es por el tema de ataque a distancia de los marines? (que supongo que sera por eso)

PD: Los comentarios al pie del terratron son la poya ajajaja (no necesita pegamento xDDDDD)

Bug Fixes

* Fixed an issue affecting the incorrect assignment of arranged teams to certain Leagues.
* Fixed an issue affecting random teams that caused no points being awarded on wins and too many points being removed on losses in certain situations.
* Fixed an issue involving the Bonus Pool display on the Quick Match and Leagues & Ladders pages.
* Korean client: Fixed an issue affecting the ability for Korean players to properly view profiles. They can now see their League ranking on their profile page.
* Fixed an intermittent UI crash on game shutdown.
* Polish client: Fixed a crash which would happen any time a "Player is no longer being revealed!" message was displayed.
