En la startup en la que actualmente estoy currando, hemos llegado al punto de que necesitamos más manos, por eso vamos a contratar a una persona para echarnos un cable con el front-end. El puesto es presencial en nuestra oficina en Rotterdam, no hace falta hablar dutch, pero si inglés ya que somos un equipo internacional. El contrato sería de 3 meses, ampliable al termino del mismo a permanente y se podría estudiar el solicitar la regla del 30%
Sobre el ambiente de trabajo, condiciones, etc. la verdad es que es bastante bueno, tenemos un ambiente muy relajado en la oficina, lo que no quiere decir que no nos lo tomemos en serio, pero ya lo digo, para trabajar aquí tienes que tener un buen sentido del humor aparte de las habilidades necesarias.

Small startup digital and social media company with big ambitions to grow is looking for a Front-End Developer (minimum 3 years experience) to join this exciting new company based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The company is developing a number of different projects within the Sports, Travel and Leisure industries worldwide in both B2B and B2C.
Job Description
- Reporting directly to the Senior Front-End Developer, your job will be the creation of the user interface of various social/lifestyle media platforms. Together with a designer, you will make everything the users actually see and work with. Both for desktop and mobile use.
- Together with the back end devs you will implement the interface in our systems.
- You will be working close to the management and Back-end developers, to create new functionalities and build various online platforms where people can meet each other and exchange information.
Essential skills:
- JavaScript
- HTML5/ CSS3
- Responsive design
- Bootstrap
- GIT
- Twig
- Symfony2(PHP)
Nice to have:
- Ionic/Cordova/PhoneGap
- Graphic Design
Ideal candidate attributes:
We are in the travel, sports and leisure industries and range from manufacturers to hotels and retailers. These will be global platforms with a lot of users, so thinking ahead and building scaleable apps is essential for this job. Testing and quality assurance is equally as important as development, so a good developer should also be a good tester. Any input, new techniques and good ideas are very much welcome and encouraged.
Preference given to candidates who have had experience in building major platforms and can give examples of previous work and the level on input they had in them.
You can expect quite a sociable working environment, however the perfect candidate would tick a majority of these boxes – the first being the most important:
- Strong work ethic – rolls up his/her sleeves and gets the job done;
- Creative and thinks outside the box;
- Language skills in one of the following: German, Spanish, Italian or French (please state level);
- An interest in motorcycles, cars, motorsports, cycling, or other sports of hobbies (please state);
- Energetic and a good sense of humour!
