I really don't understand why ppl that dont like PVP come to post to this threads about real PVP. Well, if you dont like PVP just dont post.
They're not asking to implement REAL PVP RULES in each server (RP, PVP for babies, PVE) they're just asking for a new type of server with REAL PVP RULES.
When you kill someone you can take his sword, his gun or his trousers. They're are asking for that.
They're just asking about something that would make PVP logical/fearful, something that makes you think twice before rushing into battle ("Hell, if he kills me he'll get my sword, What should I do?" "Well.. there are 3 of them.. if I kill them.."). UO PVP was fun because there was risk in it. You just couldn't let you pj in Cove Bank while you were at WC.
In my opinion, real PVP is the key to attract lots of players (UO, AC, DAOC, SWG,..), PVE I'm sorry but.. EQ2 is the game. I like WOW PVE but oh.. well.. uhm
Why can't REAL PVP LOVERS have their own server? Is not so complicated.. Some looting rules (money, potions, etc) maybe a GOOD FAME SYSTEM (well.. when you kill "X" ppl you can have a +1stat reward or whatever -> done with intelligence, if u kill someone with 5 or more levels less than you, you'll lose "X" fame points, ETC).
It's really easy to implement REAL PVP in WOW.
I don't undestand why so many ppl come to threads like that just to insult other ppl with different tastes.
