lo del sistema de proteccion es mas bien otra cosa k he leido por otro foro, es k un blue ray de ps3 solo lo van a leer las ps3 y los d pc pues los pc y asi, eso es bastante mas sensato y eso si k puedo creermelo, pk lo otro... xDD
pero una peli, se podra ver tanto en tu reproductor blueray como en tu ps3 como en tu pc no??? vamos seria lo logico :S
Es lo que se venia diciendo hace mas tiempo, pero vamos, si es asi, que despidan al redactor porque de ahi a decir eso de los juegos incompatibles con otras consolas, me suena mas a promesa para/con los desarrolladores que a noticia como tal.

Earlier today I received a phone call from a source at one of the companies mentioned in my previous article. We had a very nice conversation regarding gaming and the next generation, and my original article on Grand Theft Auto being exclusive to the PlayStation 3.
The source was kind enough to confirm it.

En esta otra web viene a decir que la supuesta exclusividad sería solo por 8 meses, vamos que viene a ser el mismo contrato que tiene Sony con Rockstar ahora para la PS2... no veo la novedad de esto por ningun lado. De todas formas... a ver cuando lo notifican oficialmente.
Es curioso ver que alguien abrió un hilo en GTAforums.com haciendose eco de la noticia a través del mismo link que ha puesto Gnom4 y un moderador lo cerró poniendo "Reputable news only, thanks.".
no, si tontos no son estos de sony, casi un añito de exclusividad, lo suficiente para comerse la practica totalidad del pastel de este juego, cuando salga en otras consolas y/o pc ya lo habra jugao hasta el tato en ps3, como paso con el san andreas
a mi cuando me gusta un juego me gusta cuando sale, 8 meses despues y dos años despues. aunke reconozco q ay muxo impaciente q lo kiere na mas salir, ese es el cliente q sony consigue con estas exclusividades jeje.
Curioso como se ve la exclusividad temporal en unos casos ( GTA ) y en otros ( Resident Evil 4 )...

Por cierto, las ventas del Resident Evil 4 de PS2 estan demostrando que la exclusividad temporal si tiene efecto.

Final Fantasy XIII y Dragon Quest IX podrian ver la luz en Xbox 360:
En una reciente entrevista a Yahoo/Agencia Reuters, Yoidi Wada, Presidente de Square-Enix, ha declarado que sus próximos títulos de rol Final Fantasy XIII y Dragon Quest IX, podrían aparecer tanto en PS3 como en Xbox360.
Esto pinta de cine. Cuanto más apoyo tenga 360 por parte de las desarrolladoras, mejor. Además, la fuente es totalmente fiable, siendo Reuters una de las agencias de noticias más conocida del mundo.

PD: para el que me vaya a saltar el cuello, lo pongo aqui como nota informativa sobre la posible conversion de un hasta ahora exclusivo para ps3 en multiplataforma.
Esto ya se venia avisando tiempo, mas de una vez he dicho que la nueva generacion que llega sera la generacion de las no-exclusividades.
Ya no compensan.
Una exclusividad no compensa en el lanzamiento de una consola, desde luego a dia de hoy una exclusividad en Ps2, evidentemente si tiene calidad es un negocio seguro.
Lo q no es negocio son exclusividades del pelo de RE4 para GC, y Capcom se dio cuanta casi a los dias de lanzarlo.
Si no hay exclusividades, para q consolas diferentes?, q se pongan de acuerdo y saquen una en comun, en mi opinion las exclusividades son necesarias.

Bueno, pues parece que el rumor de que los juegos de PS3 solo se podían jugar en la consola en la que se ejecutasen por primera vez ha sido por fin desmentido... logico por otra parte. Sony ha tenido alguna que otra cagada, pero esta habría sido sin duda descomunal.

PS3 Gets SpeedTree
One of the promises of next-generation gaming involves more realistic looking outdoor environments. One company that seeks to provide such visual enhancement is Interactive Data Visualization, Inc. (IDV), a middleware developer who specializes in the creation of such environments through its SpeedTreeRT technology which "delivers highly realistic trees and plants, with adjustable wind effects...and an included library of hundreds of tree, plant and marine models representing more than 170 core species." IDV announced today that the company had entered into a "tools and middleware" licensing agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) to provide the SpeedTreeRT technology to developers creating games for the upcoming PlayStation 3 next-generation gaming console.
According to IDV Vice President Michael Sechrest, Speedtree's ability to quickly create "beautiful, wind-blown and efficient foliage to real-time titles makes it ideal as a middleware choice for the ground-breaking graphical excellence of the PlayStation 3."
No further information was provided regarding what titles would use the SpeedTreeRT technology but once we find out, we'll be sure to let you know.

If memory serves us right, Twister kicked off the DVD revolution with some good times, so what special film will usher us into the Blu-ray era? What masterpiece of cinema will warm our hearts in all it’s HD glory? You sure guessed it, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle just received the full-on Blu-ray treatment from Sony, including “dynamic menus with full resolution graphics and animation,” and of course, a 1920x1080 flick of that female crime fighting trio. We can’t claim to have viewed said picture, but lets just say that even Blu-ray could not compel us to such an act. Sony says that “this achievement will help everyone understand that Blu-ray is real and poised to enter the marketplace,” but we’re guessing and hoping it will take more than this to win the format war.
