Q. Why did you decided to leave ? It was so stunning.
A. Well I just can't pick one reason.. it was more complicated than that.
First of all, I was burdened inside and outside of the game. I felt some kind of limitation. I lost confidence and passion, also I thought myself became burden to other teammates.
I thought if other good junglers joined our team we would have good composition and win. So before entering OGN the summer, I declared to teammates - I'll try hard this season and decide my future by result.
I think it is literally "Goodbye". I think it is win-win to both of us. And today is Monday ! - actually, today is MiG Frost's 2nd birthday ! So I was happy to say goodbye today. It could mean 'the new start' as a man Lee Hyun-Woo.
Q. How teammates responded when you decided to retire ?
A. They thought it as a joke first, cause I said it everyday (smile). After World Championship Qualifiers, I declared to retire pro scene.
It was such an uproar ! They were stunned and couldn't accept what I mean. Even someone shed tears.
Although I don't have real brother, they were like my brothers. So I was sad and glad when they acted like that.
But I continuously said this is not the end, rather it is the new beginning.
Q. Have opinions regarding new roster ? (Helios and MakNooN joined)
A. I saw their plays. I think we are great now because we already know each other. Especially, Helios is good friend of mine since he is so humane and humble.
I was surprised first when Helios moved to frost. But I thought it was rather good for Helios and Frost. I felt bit bitter when Helios had a lot of hardship in Blaze. Frost is a good team and would suit well for Helios.
Q. Can you say word to teammates ?
A. When I declared retire I said it is good, and today is a good day. This is not the end but beginning. There is no reason to being sad.
I believe they would do well cause they are really good players. DO NOT GIVE UP AND THERE WILL BE GOOD RESULT. Do not give up until they join army (smile) (All male Koreans should serve for army about 2 years). I'll keep watching
