Thank you for contacting QUAKE LIVE Support.
With the latest update, all users have full access to the features included in QUAKE LIVE. This includes the ability to host matches and find other players through the Match Browser, as well as features available from Steam such as access to Steam Workshop, Friends, and Achievements. If you have downloaded QUAKE LIVE through Steam in the past, or were a subscriber while using the standalone, you will have the new version in your Steam Library at no extra charge. Otherwise you will need to purchase QUAKE LIVE.
As a result, QUAKE LIVE no longer supports subscriptions, and all future subscription renewals have been cancelled. Please note that no stats, friends, awards, or clans were transferred from before the update.
