- With Fnatic failing to qualify, Yellowstar remains tied with Dyrus for most times at Worlds with 5 appearances.
- The longest active streak for appearances at Worlds now belongs to Sneaky with 4 straight seasons

Reunions
here are some players who may get the opportunity to face off against former teammates in other regions
- Scout was previously a sub on SKT. He only appeared in 2 games - once during the 2015 KeSPA Cup and once during Season 6 Spring.
- Jensen played with Splyce coach YammatoCannon on the infamous Team Solo Mebdi roster that attempted to qualify for the EU LCS at the start of Season 3. The team disbanded after Jensen (then Veigodx) and 2 other team members were banned from competitive play prior to the qualifiers.
- In another fun Jensen connection, the player he allegedly DDoS'd was Youngbuck, now the coach of G2.
- Jensen also served as a coach for SK Gaming during Season 4 when Svenskeren was on the team.
- Svenskeren and Forg1ven were teammates on SK Gaming during Season 5 Spring. It seems as though they did not part amicably
- Impact won the Season 3 World Championship with Faker and Bengi. He also played with Wraith (then Casper) on SKT
- Looper, Pawn, Deft, and Mata all return as former members of the Samsung organization. Their former coach DoGGi returns to Worlds with a new roster
- Huhi and CoreJJ played together back on Bigfile Miracle during the S4 Summer Split of Champions
- Reapered played with Ambition on Azubu Blaze in 2012. He also served as a coach for EDG during Season 5
- Ryu and Duke (then Leapard) were teammates on the KT Rolster Bullets during the first half of Season 4
- Trick was the backup to Ambition during Season 5 when they both played on CJ Entus.

note - I had to make some determinations as to whether it is the same team. In general, if it’s the same organization or the same squad with just a rename, I considered it the same team
- TSM remains the only team to qualify for every World Championship
- EDG, KOO/ROX Tigers, and Cloud 9 have qualified for every Worlds since their team was formed
- CLG and Cloud 9 move into a tie with Fnatic with 4 appearances at Worlds
- ahq returns all 5 members who were part of their S5 Worlds team. They are also the only team where every member has previously qualified for Worlds.
- Royal Never Give Up is making their first appearance, though they are a sister team of 2-time qualifier Royal Club. Royal Club also created the team LMQ, which was sold when they moved to North America
- The teams without an import player are Splyce, ROX, SKT, Samsung, Flash Wolves, ahq, INTZ, and Albus Nox Luna

#163 Lo de TSM es impresionante, y nunca se pone en valor porque son TSM y hay que hatearlos, pero aguantar tantos años allí arriba es muy complicado.
#164 Y no olvidar el factor suerte porque incluso cuando se arrastraban por la grieta conseguían clasificarse, eso o que hubo temporadas en la que la LCS NA tenía un nivel un poco de risa.
#164 El tema es que han sido un gran equipo en una pobre región. Así lo ha demostrado siempre en los worlds. Este año es su año, es del que de verdad espero algo de ellos.
#166 Si no seré yo el que te niegue que el nivel de NA ha sido bajo durante mucho tiempo, pero incluso así, equipos historicos como CLG no han sido capaces de mantenerse top de la región siempre, es algo que no es facil, sea la region que sea.
TSM este año le paso el ''trapo'' a todos, osea, fue muy stomp esta temporada, tiene un gran equipo, pueden intentar aspirar a algo este año en Worlds.
Espero no llegar tarde a comentar esto, pueden cambiar el ad en los mundiales un equipo? Si acaso seria un sub que inscribieron no?

#167 clg hasta el summer que empezaron a jugar a algo(s5 hablo) nunca han sido un gran equipo xD. Han sido un "histórico" por ser "buenos" en la s1. hue hue hue
en la lcs solo han existido c9 y tsm. CLG ha sido de el summer de la 5 hasta ahora.
O sea que CLG tuvo que esperar a que TSM y C9 implosionaran para hacer algo como ya dijimos en su día. Todo en orden.
El dia que Clg haga esto, "aphromu haz el equipo como te veas" ese año clg aspirara a algo, mientras tanto.. a la sombra de los otros

#173 por eso digo. hasta el summer del s5, que hizo clg? algo destacable en la s1 y ya. Son una squad histórica, pero nunca fuero un rival histórico en NA.
c9 tiene varios records tanto de squad como de sus jugadores.
