Forge, PvP en estado puro!

Si, la verdad q el streaming se ve que fue un fiasco, yo no lo vi pero la gente a la q se lo dije m ha dicho q vaya mierda jaja.

Una cosa, hay alguien jugando al forge que no haya usado lo de "refered a friend"? Porque necesito 2 personas que jueguen y no les importe, que me digan su nick para poder sacar una clave.

It has been some time since we’ve been able to really sit down and write something to let all of you know what we’re doing, where Forge is heading and how long it will take to get there. That isn’t because we haven’t been hard at work, we have. We also haven’t forgotten about the most important aspect of Forge’s success, you.

One of the very important tasks we had in front of us after releasing the game was to get confirmation from all of you on where Forge should go next. What should we focus on. Where should we devote our time and energy to make the game the best game it could be in your eyes. We believed we knew, but you are the most important judge when it comes to whether or not we’re doing the right thing.

It takes a little time to gather that information. We had to get it right. We think you’ll be thrilled to hear what’s coming.

We know that the number of people playing Forge day to day has diminished sharply. This is caused by a multitude of issues, but none are as responsible as the difficulty new players have getting into the game and the general level of

polish of the game that’s there. There are core features we know are missing and we must do a much better job introducing new players to Forge.

We believe strongly that we have a fantastic gameplay core. We just need to surround that with the right pieces and the game will begin to achieve it’s potential.

To that end, we’re doing the following in the next four patches:

• A new “New Player” experience
o Overhauled Tutorial
o Starter Zone where players can fight against bots to become familiar with Forge combat before being forced into competition with one another
o Greatly improved messaging and UI when it comes to informing players what an ability is supposed to do when activated
• Missing Core features added
o Server Browser
o Lobbies with full pre made group support
o Skill based matchmaking
o Ladders
• Progression finished, yet greatly improved at the same time
o Ability focuses added
o New Skin system, no longer do you have to update your entire character model at the same time. You can swap out chest pieces, leg armor, gauntlets, boots and helmets separately.
o Two sets of armor per character, actual sets with different models as a base, with additional sets provided through texture changes while we work on finishing up all the different model options
o Free, unlimited respecs.

While these are the primary focus for the next four patches, we are also hoping to finish both the Ravager and Tinker classes in the process, while greatly improving performance overall as well as for specific maps.

These patches will arrive frequently between now and the end of April, including one in the next several days. We hope you’re excited by the direction we’re taking and look forward to seeing all of you in Forge.

edit2: no se si es cosa mía, pero el juego me va bastante ,mas fluido, y con menores tiempos de carga, joder así tenia que estar el juego cuando lo sacaron xD

We wanted to let you know about the most recent update to Forge. This list of changes is not comprehensive, but seeks to capture the most important elements of the update. It is our most expansive update to Forge since release.

Key New Features

  • 30 new ability focuses now available via unlocks. Select these via your Level Up customization screen for your character.
  • Play bot matches to gain familiarity with the game and hone your skills in the new practice arena.
  • Form groups with friends and queue for servers together.
  • Join friends already playing from within Steam.
  • Steam server browser support. Just open your Steam client, go to "View", then "Servers", and set your filters for Forge and any other criteria you have.

General

  • Fixed a bug where bound numpad number key binds didn't save properly.
  • Ability overrides replaced with new ability re-ordering system, fixing many binds issues.
  • Users can now team chat from within the global chat window by starting with '\t ' '\team '.
  • Removed old TTS easter-egg (was potentially being abused).
  • Fix for 'ghost' players hanging around on servers (This should also fix the "Duplicate UID" issues some players get).
  • 'nooverlay' file added so Mumble won't try to use overlay functionality with Forge which could lead to game instability.

UI

  • New groups menu - can create a lobby, invite friends, choose game settings, chat and launch a game together.
  • Ability Focus menu now allows selection of ability focuses unlocked by levels.
  • New, updated tooltips which explain ability mechanics more clearly.
  • Colorblind mode updated for the HUD and relics. Blue shade lightened.
  • Player titles now stay with you over map changes.
  • Nameplates now show more consistently based on the location of the player.
  • Menu option 'Community' -> 'Friends' now shows your Steam friends.
  • New map loading screens.

Gameplay

  • Fixed a visual bug with blocking + stunned.
  • When becoming determined the player now plays the "Get Up" animation from a knockdown.
  • Fixed a bug where knockbacks were not interrupting abilities.
  • Improved the ability to hit people mid jump.
  • If the tower is partly capped by team 1 and team 0 kills the last member of team 1, team 0 now wins.
  • Improved the simulation on projectile hit VFX greatly.
  • Removed the mana cost on abilities that get interrupted.
  • Defined 'Infront' and 'Behind' as within 60 degrees from front dead center (for blocking and bonus damage from behind).
  • New blocking system: No GCD, costs 10 resource per second + a cost per hit. Regen starts after 3 seconds of not blocking at 20 per second. Damage starts to leak through after blocking for moderate length of time.
  • Some damage begins to leak through blocking at 75% of MaxResource.
  • Fixed a bug where stuns sometimes did not cancel blocking.
  • Improved hit reactions when jumping and getting knocked back.
  • Damage multiplier no longer effects heals.
  • Fixed a bug where VFX would play on shadow shifted pawns when it shouldn't for Spiritual Burden, Molten Armor, Flame Burst, Vengeance and some AOE spells.
  • Fixed a bug where the block animation would not play while pinned.
  • Fixed a bug where getting Stunned while holding block caused the block animation to continue playing after the stun finished even though block had been released.
  • Fixed a bug where changing teams while alive gave the death penalty to the wrong team.
  • Can move upwards now in spectator mode using 'jump' bind.

Assassin

  • Fixed rare bug where Shadow Leap failing went onto CD, cost mana, and turned your pawn.
  • Disorienting Strike now stuns only if used from stealth, otherwise it pins.
  • Added a decay to the effect of Disorienting Strike - the disorientation will time out after 6 seconds.
  • Removed the jump height debuff from Puncture.
  • Shadow Leap no longer slows the enemy, nor breaks Stealth.

Pathfinder

  • Traps no longer hit allied team members if you die after placing them.
  • Traps are now visible until they land.

Pyromancer

  • Fix to Curse of Flame being able to change target before damage tick.
  • Fixed a bug where molten armor would be displayed on the Pyromancer even if the Pyromancer cancelled the cast.
  • Firestrom VFX has been adjusted to better align with the ability effect.
  • Fixed a small bug with inaccurate placement of the wall of Flame.

Shaman

  • Heal has been modified. It now heals 25, down from 30, and the base heal is now 100, up from 80.
  • Cooldown removed from Seed of Healing.
  • Spiritual Bond changed to Spiritual Drain: Drains target enemy of his resource and gives it to Shaman while the enemy remains in range and in line of sight.
  • Blessed Aura changed to Blessed Beacon - now has a 1 sec cast time, 5 sec CD and heals all around the Shaman for 120 at a cost of 20.

Warden

  • Fixed Shield Storm not allowing vertical flight.
  • Fixed a smoke cloud bug with Shield Storm that gave incorrect miss notifications.
  • Toggle abilities (Protect Allies and Raise Morale) are now off the GCD and have 1 sec CDs.
  • Shockwave VFX has been adjusted to better align with the ability effect.

To celebrate our latest patch, we're giving a 4x XP bonus to all players that play Forge this weekend! The Quad XP Bonus Weekend begins today, Friday the 22nd at 5pm PST (GMT-8), and ends on Monday the 25th at 10am PST. Este juego lo mataron al sacarlo en una versión alfa muy atrasada. La gente tenía unas expectativas que no cumplieron para nada, no me extrañaría ver que estuviera totalmente vacío ahora.

Ni Bloodline Champions se adelantó tanto en su lanzamiento, y eso que ha tenido bastantes años de "vida". Siempre puede mejorar sí, pero dudo que se de el caso.

tarde o temprano acabara f2p , supongo que si cuando pase eso esta bien cuidado, puede hacer algo, eso si , empiezan con mal pie.

Lo que más me jode es que he encontrado servidores llenos ( 2 o 3, pero con 120ping~) y es la ostia de divertido si el equipo está bien equilibrado... Pero pienso que el juego no merece la atención necesaria por los desarrolladores, o están en una piscina de billetes ahora mismo.

El juego, mi punto de vista actual, es que necesita mejorar para que sea más jugable y la gente lo aprecie más y se anime a jugarlo:

  • Auto balance de equipos
  • Mejora de UI (Le dan más prioridad a la barra de experiencia que a la HP, que debería ser la que más resalte
  • Más clases (por ejemplo nigromante, guerrero con duales, summoner...)
  • Un menú que de gusto verlo, y no una pantalla en negro con 4 botones ()
  • Daño realizado o cura realizada más visible

Y la verdad, no se que puntos más necesitaría, si entre todos los reunimos, y lo planteamos como idea para mejora del juego estaría bien.

El tema de subir de nivel a las clases y sus bonificaciones la verdad es que esta muy bien trabajado, y es un punto buenísimo en el tema de builds del juego, y creo que ese será un punto fuerte para el juego (si algún día da el salto).

Ahora que lo pienso, no hablaron que cada clase iba a tener una mascota? Como ha quedado eso?

#771 La verdad es que el juego por 6.45€ está muy, pero que muy bien. Si es verdad que ahora mismo está muy verde, pero la ambientación, las clases y el sistema de build está muy currado. Sin duda podría llegar a ser un juegazo, pero se están tomando su tiempo haciendolo poquito a poquito

Yo me compré el juego en las ofertas de invierno de Steam, y pese a que está verde en muchos aspectos es muy divertido, y por fin he encontrado un juego donde cuenten las manos, sin equipo. No sabía lo del torneo, puede estar muy interesante.

#775 por lo que he leido es una liga de 3v3. estaría intersante hacer un equipo equilibrado, puedo usar todo pero lo que más manejo es pathfinder y assassin, también uso pyromancer y warden, y lo que menos al shaman.

#769 En las opciones del juego puedes hacer las letras de cantidad de daño y curación mas grandes.

Me interesaría eso de las partidillas. Mi main es Shaman y suelo usar Pathfinder si ya hay suficientes Shaman en el equipo
