Ronda de análisis de Resident Evil 3 Remake

B

ACG - Jeremy Penter - Wait for Sale

"A good title and enjoyable but very short and its replayability is limited greatly. The MP wasn't working even on day one and the beta MP was preventable. Not bad just not as excellent as RE 2"

Ars Technica - Sam Machkovech - Unscored

If you want a memorable action video game, RE3 Remake will deliver—albeit briefly. If you want that action coupled with cheesy, relatable humanity, on the other hand, RE2 Remake is a better bet, if not a dive into your favorite binge-worthy zombie TV series.

CGMagazine - Lane Martin - 9 / 10

Resident Evil 3 joins its forbearer as another top notch remake. I'm happy to see what Capcom has been doing with the series and wonder where they'll take it next.

Critical Hit - Darryn Bonthuys - 8.5 / 10

Resident Evil 3 Remake continues to the raise the bar of what it means to be a remake. It can feel rushed in places, but the sheer terror of Nemesis and the return to form of Jill Valentine makes it an experience you don't want to miss. Just be sure to bring extra clean underwear along for the ride.

Cultured Vultures - Jimmy Donnellan - 8 / 10

Resident Evil 3 is a mostly superb remake of a horror classic with many clever spins on the formula and fluid, enthralling gameplay. I just wish there was more of it.

Daily Mirror - Jasper Pickering - 4 / 5 stars

Players who are just looking to experience the same single player action from Resident Evil 2 should wait until the game is released as a standalone title or after it has significantly dropped in price.

Daily Star - Lloyd Coombes - 5 / 5 stars

Just as the 1999 original was a more action-focused Resident Evil game that arguably helped pivot the franchise towards the iconic fourth instalment, this 2020 reimagining feels like last year’s game in many ways, only sped up and thirstier for zombie blood.

It treads the line between tension and action impressively, and Nemesis cements his legacy as one of the series’ most enduring creatures.

Destructoid - Chris Carter - 8 / 10

The remake of Resident Evil 3 is going to be divisive, just as the original was.

EGM - Mollie L Patterson - 8 / 10

It was always a long shot that a new take on Resident Evil 3 was going to be able to live up to the expectations set by 2019's Resident Evil 2 remake, and that's exactly the case here. Still, beyond a few examples of missed potential, this is another stellar attempt by Capcom to bring its survival horror series into the modern era, and retains a sense of individuality and personality that make it stand out from its peers.

Easy Allies - Michael Huber - 8.5 / 10

Resident Evil 3 is an action-packed journey through the streets of Raccoon City with fear chasing you every step of the way.

Eurogamer - Wesley Yin-Poole - No Recommendation / Blank

The Resident Evil 3 remake, like the original upon which it is based, is inferior to its predecessor.

Game Informer - Ben Reeves - 9 / 10

This is another spectacular remake for the series, and Nemesis is an imposing enemy who relentlessly chases you throughout the game.

GameSpew - Richard Seagrave - 9 / 10

In terms of thrills and spills, Resident Evil 3 offers what is perhaps the best Resident Evil campaign ever.

GameSpot - Alessandro Fillari - 6 / 10

Capcom's remake of Resident Evil 3 makes a strong first impression, but it eventually loses sight of what made the original so memorable.

GameWatcher - Gavin Herman - 8 / 10

Resident Evil 3's remake might not be as surprising as REmake 2, but it is still a fun ride.

Gameblog - Romain Mahut - French - 7 / 10

Resident Evil 3 is a good game that doesn't manage to reach the heights that Resident Evil 2 did. Nemesis has a great new look but he doesn't instill fear like Mr. X did last year. The game is also quite short. Resident Evil Resistance has an interesting concept but suffers from balancing and technical issues.

Gamers Heroes - Johnny Hurricane - 80 / 100

While Resident Evil 2 Remake is the better game, Resident Evil 3 still makes for a good time. For those looking to pay a trip to Raccoon City and face off with Nemesis, give it a go.

GamingBolt - Shubhankar Parijat - 7 / 10

Resident Evil 3 constantly hints at greatness, but never quite reaches the heights of the PS1 original. It's a solid enough game, but not nearly as impressive as other recent Resident Evil titles, and not nearly as good as it could and should have been.

Glitched Africa - Marco Cocomello - 7 / 10

Resident Evil 3 Remake manages to deliver a somewhat authentic remake of the classic game. While it lacks some iconic areas and enemies, it does keep you at the edge of your seat as you face some rather deadly threats. Once the game is over, you can purchase some items from the shop to enhance your next playthroughs like medals that grant health regen and over-powered weapons like a laser gun.. Will I go back and do another? I doubt it.

Hardcore Gamer - Cory Wells - 4.5 / 5

On its own, the remake of Resident Evil 3 is another hallmark achievement for Capcom. It may not satisfy purists of the original, but there's no reason that fans of what the RE2 remake accomplished won't enjoy this.

Hobby Consolas - David Martinez - Spanish - 92 / 100

Resident Evil 3 is a brilliant remake. It is faithful to the original 1999 PSX game, with updated gameplay and graphics, but Capcom has been able to deepen its storyline, characters and connections with RE2. On the downside, you can finish it under 5 hours (first round).

IGN - Lucy O'Brien - 9 / 10

With a sublimely detailed world and breakneck survival-horror gameplay, Resident Evil 3 is just as good as its 2019 predecessor. More, please!

Kotaku - Heather Alexandra - Unscored

It takes last year’s Resident Evil 2 remake and hones it into something meaner and more intense. Embracing the chaos leads to an intense and confidently executed Resident Evil experience.

Metro GameCentral - 7 / 10

The source material already had its problems, but this disappointing remake manages to make Resident Evil 3 seem even less inspired than it did originally.

PC Gamer - Andy Kelly - 58 / 100

Both the Nemesis and Raccoon City are massively underused in this disappointing step back for the series.

PCGamesN - Jordan Forward - 7 / 10

Capcom's latest is still one of the better entries to the series, but isn't quite sure if it wants to be po-faced and terrifying or a campy, blockbuster shooter.Jordan Forward

PCWorld - Hayden Dingman - Unscored

Maybe it will win me over yet. It’s running out of time though.

PSX Brasil - Ivan Nikolai Barkow Castilho - Portuguese - 90 / 100

Resident Evil 3 is another excellent Capcom title. Despite being a little short, it is challenging and encourages the player to finish it more than once. The story remains interesting and the gameplay is basically the same as in Resident Evil 2 Remake with some improvements (which is not a bad thing). The graphics and the sound effects are incredible. To make up for the short single-player campaign, Capcom presents us with the RE Resistance multiplayer, which has an interesting proposal and is a great addition to the package, but its long learning curve can keep some players away.

PlayStation Universe - Michael Harradence - 8 / 10

Resident Evil 3 is another stunning-looking revamp from Capcom that effortlessly manages to switch between tension-packed moments of genuine horror and bombastic action set pieces. It's just a shame that some questionable changes were made from the original and there isn't more bang for your buck in terms of post-completion content.

Polygon - Michael McWhertor - Unscored

When I first fired up Resident Evil 3, I worried that its tale of a pandemic turning cities into disease-plagued ghost towns would be more of a depressing reminder of our current reality than escapist entertainment. To wit: A live-action cinematic starts the game with doctors in hazmat suits and government officials telling of a CDC-enforced quarantine.

Press Start - James Berich - 8.5 / 10

Resident Evil 3 take some more creative liberties with its source material but still comes out on top. The remake offers a more refined take on the original game to become something much more memorable. While some spirit has been lost in translation, Resident Evil 3 is superbly paced and one of the better modern Resident Evil games, and a chapter that any horror fan shouldn’t miss.

Push Square - Liam Croft - 7 / 10

Resident Evil 3 had the potential to better its classic predecessor, but a disappointing amount of cut content and the let down that is Nemesis hold it back from greatness. It's still an experience very much worth revisiting, with Raccoon City and the hospital receiving a lot of love and attention, however, it only makes us question what could have been that little bit more.

Rely On Horror - Rourke Keegan - 6.5 / 10

Enter the classic world of survival horror with Capcom's Resident Evil 3 Remake, a retelling that may, or may not, be what you were hoping for.

Saudi Gamer - عصام الشهوان - Arabic - 10 / 10

Another slam dunk remake from Capcom; one that is faithful while still feeling contemporary and exciting. This is a faster, tighter game than the remake of Resident Evil 2, with a cast of interesting characters and a better flow than the original.

Screen Rant - Christopher Teuton - 4 / 5 stars

RE3 is good, but it's just more of the same.

Shacknews - David Craddock - 9 / 10

Every inch of Resident Evil 3 has been polished to a blinding sheen. From gameplay and replay value, to the overhauled story and environments, this game is a masterpiece, and the new standard bearer for Capcom's franchise.

Spaziogames - Domenico Musicò - Italian - 8.5 / 10

Resident Evil 3 fails to reach the heights of Resident Evil 2 remake, has a shorter and easier campaign and cuts off some iconic locations like The Clock Tower and Raccoon Park.

The Digital Fix - Andrew Shaw - 10 / 10

Resident Evil 3 is a worthy successor to the Resident Evil 2 remake in every respect. A perfect reimagining and one of the best entries in the Resident Evil franchise.

TheSixthAxis - Nick Petrasiti - 9 / 10

Capcom have done a marvellous job with Resident Evil 3, reviving another of their beloved survival horror classics and making it feel completely fresh once again. Nemesis is back and he's here to smash your face in.

Twinfinite - Alex Gibson - 3.5 / 5

It’s so damn good, but it’s disappointingly brief. The game looks stunning and it plays fantastically well, but I’ve beaten it twice and I don’t feel as though my hunger for Resident Evil has been satiated.

USgamer - Caty McCarthy - 3.5 / 5 stars

Resident Evil 3 finally repositions its place as not just a true sequel to Resident Evil 2, but as a bridge to Resident Evil 4, both in action and plot. While it streamlines the formula of Resident Evil 2 into something more linear, it's still the best way to dodge through Raccoon City with Jill and Carlos, even with Nemesis always on your tail and the occasional clunkiness here and there. With a breezy runtime, Resident Evil 3 is well worth revisiting. Just maybe not Resident Evil Resistance.

VG247 - Kirk McKeand - 3 / 5 stars

It’s still worth playing, but Resident Evil 3 Remake is a step backwards for Capcom, coming off the back of one of the best games of last year. It’s gorgeous to look at, the jump scares will get you, and it’s like stepping into a comfy pair of slippers. But even though your feet are cosy, it never feels like home.

Video Chums - Trey Griffeth - 7.5 / 10

In the end, Resident Evil 3 suffers from not being as good as its predecessor. It's well-made with likable charismatic protagonists and is quite the roller coaster ride but when compared to the tense full-on survival horror game that preceded it, Resident Evil 3 feels like a step back. Still, if you're a fan and are dying for more, this is a solid game that will undoubtedly scratch that itch.

VideoGamer - Josh Wise - 8 / 10

Resident Evil 3 is a play for our imagination as much as our memory. It understands that the fear we felt long ago didn't fade; it took root in our brains and mutated into myth. And this is what it might look like.

Wccftech - Nathan Birch - 8.5 / 10

Resident Evil 3 is the franchise's best action-driven entry since the glory days of Resident Evil 4. A beautifully-balanced combination of white-knuckle mayhem and satisfying old-school tension, Resident Evil 3 is compulsively-munchable popcorn entertainment that, unfortunately, disappears all too quickly. If you're looking for value, there are certainly meatier games out there, but few that will leave you licking your fingers as happily as this one.

Windows Central - Samuel Tolbert - 4.5 / 5 stars

While a couple of things could've been tweaked to provide a longer experience, Capcom provides a fantastic survival horror remake that carefully balances the action with the terror. You will fear Nemesis.

Worth Playing - Chris "Atom" DeAngelus - 8 / 10

Resident Evil 3 Remake is slightly disappointing after the stellar Resident Evil 2 Remake. It's still a good game, but its short length and lack of ambition mean that it will constantly be seen as the lesser sibling. The addition of the REsistance online mode should add some value for those who enjoy competitive online play, but the lack of single-player options is disappointing. All in all, it's a good follow-up to an amazing game, and as long as you're willing to forgive its foibles, RE3 Remake should be a fun return to Raccoon City for franchise faithfuls.

Xbox Achievements - Richard Walker - 85 / 100

Short it may be, but Resident Evil 3 is also delightfully sweet. Or as sweet as a survival horror game possibly can be, anyway. Pared back, streamlined and completely brilliant, you'll have a blast outrunning Nemesis all over again.

ZTGD - Jae Lee - 8 / 10

Despite missing a few defining features of the original, Resident Evil 3 makes for a thrilling experience that I’m sure will be enjoyed by both veterans of the series and new fans alike.

D4rKNiGhT

Cuando veo 7 y 8 tan repetidos algo no parece estar bien. No sé.
